Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
  • 3 T butter
  • 2 oz cheese (any kind; I used Colby Jack)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Onion powder to taste (optional)
  • Garlic powder to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix minced meat with the required amount of salt and pepper. Add any onion powder and / or garlic powder.
  3. Press a small amount of beef (about 1 tablespoon) at the bottom of the 12-slot non-stick cookie pan so that the bottom is completely covered.
  4. Add a bowl of butter over each piece of beef.
  5. Add beef again at the top. Press to adjust.
  6. Add a small piece of cheese to the meat.
  7. Add a final layer of beef. (It's good if you do not have enough beef to cover the top of the whole cheese.) Click to flatten.
  8. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. ** If you are using a silicone pancake tray, place it on top of the baking sheet before adding it to the oven! **
  9. When the bread is complete, turn off the oven and break the oven door for a few minutes to allow heat to escape. This is to allow excess oil to cool.
  10. Be very careful before taking out the pan of cakes from the oven, because the fat from the meat and butter will be very hot.
  11. Using a fork, remove each butter from the pan and place it on a plate. (Note: Burger should be cooked, if not, prepare it for a few minutes.)
