BROWN SUGAR COOKIES
Brown sugar cookies made from dark brown sugar and butter are sweet, smooth and fun, as the twist is perfect on traditional cookies ready in less than 30 minutes!

INGREDIENTS

  • 14 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 3/4 sticks
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour plus 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat the oven to 350 ° C. Cover bread with baking paper.
  2. Melt 10 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Beat constantly until the butter begins to ferment, about 3-4 minutes. Pour into the bowl, add the remaining butter to the same container and set aside.
  3. Beat in a separate bowl of sugar, a quarter cup of brown sugar, flour, baking powder and baking powder.
  4. Add the remaining brown sugar and salt to the butter and whisk until the mixture is smooth. Beat the egg whites and vanilla.
  5. Mix butter mixture with dry ingredients and stir until dough is formed.
  6. Roll the dough 1/2 inch thick and use the cookie cutter, or roll it into a ball and place it on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until cookies start to set.
